I wanted a central place where creators who focus on games can more easily find each other. If you’re into video games, tabletop games, TCGs, the games industry or etc., you’ll find creators related to your interests below.
If you’re missing & you belong, feel free to comment & we’ll update the list (there are no intentional omissions — it’s just hard to know who’s out there).
Also, if you’re new, it will help you to be added here (I believe). The early days can feel pretty lonely at the moment, without some sort of support network.

Justin Gary — Think Like a Game Designer — Justin is the CEO at Stoneblade Entertainment, and wrote the book “Think Like a Game Designer.” He’s former pro Magic: the Gathering champion who has also designed Ascension, Solforge & Solforge Fusion, and works at the cutting edge of design & how to build a community to do so.
Mike Mearls - Arcane Mutterings — Mike has spent his adult life working on D&D & Magic: the Gathering. He writes about TTRPGs most heavily on Substack, and knows a ton about game design.
Jonathan Tweet - Jonathan is similarly a legend in the tabletop gaming space, having worked on D&D, Ars Magica, Everway and many others. He’s also an accomplished children’s author, and wrote the wonderful Grandmother Fish.
Mike Elliott - Mike was an early game designer for Magic: the Gathering, and later contributed to hit games in Japan: Duel Masters & Battle Spirits. In 2017, he was voted into the Tabletop Gaming Hall of Fame.
Brian Schneider - Alternate Worlds — Brian was the lead game developer for Magic: the Gathering, and most recently was Chief of Studios at Series Entertainment. He most recently wrote the book Alternate Worlds about his experiences with Magic: the Gathering & is recording a podcast about game makers & creators, now.
